NSCRD programs and services are planned, delivered and facilitated based on the following strategic outcomes as determined by the Board of Directors:
- Community driven entities in all member communities.
- Community driven balanced, quality programs.
- Quality north-wide programs.
- Skilled, knowledgeable community leaders.
- Increased communication and interaction between member communities and the NSCRD.
- Collaboration and partnerships within our sector and with other sectors that benefit northern communities.
- The role of the NSCRD/Districts in the sport, recreation, culture delivery system is understood and utilized.
